Join Danny Mollan in this special presentation to explore the Aotearoa New Zealand Privacy Act from the perspective of people who access services.

Wānanga with Danny as he provides practical examples of how our privacy legislation can be used to share information in ways that reduce harm and ensure the best experiences and outcomes for tāngata whai ora and whānau.

About Danny

Danny has held a range of roles in the public sector, working as a technologist, data practitioner, and consultant on a range of topics.

Most recently these roles have included: Data Protection and Use Policy Engagement Lead at the Social Investment Agency, Service Design Lead at the Ministry of Justice, Director of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) and Programme Architect on the Immigration Global Management System.

Before moving to New Zealand from the UK in the late 90s, Danny was Technical Lead at Cap Gemini, working on commercial systems. His early career included working as a programmer, database designer and database administrator.

Danny has a degree in Pure Mathematics and a Masters in Information Technology, from University College London.
