Michael Hawkey

Michael Hawkey is the General Manager – Infrastructure at Ember Korowai Takitini, where he leads the systems and operational foundations that support high quality mental health and addiction services. He brings a practical, solutions focused mindset and a deep commitment to supporting teams with clear, reliable systems.

As an NGO lead, Michael contributes an operational and service improvement lens to the KPI Programme. He has been part of the sector’s collaborative work on whānau engagement and values the collective innovation that emerges when NGOs share ideas and challenges.

Michael’s aspirations for the Programme focus on strengthening data systems, improving

accessibility, and supporting decisions that enhance experiences for tāngata whai ora and

whānau.
