Karla has been involved with the programme since its inception in 2008 when working at a district health board, then moving to the sponsor group as an NGO representative. Now working in Health NZ at a national level, she believes the KPI Programme can bring the sector together to learn, collaborate and facilitate continuous improvement of services. She also champions benchmarking as a way of staying accountable to the people who use services and to the public.
