Benchmarking Breakouts: Exploring the Whānau Engagement indicator
Online
- Sep 10, 2026 9:30 am - 10:30 am
To mark Whānau Engagement Month, take an hour out of your day to reflect on whānau engagement data from across the motu, share experiences with peers, and explore how these insights can support quality improvement within your own service.
Together we'll explore questions such as:
- How does our district's whānau engagement compare with others across the motu?
- What factors might be contributing to these results?
- What opportunities do the data highlight for quality improvement?
- Nationally, around 45% of tāngata whai ora using community district services have at least one contact involving their whānau within a three-month period. What are the key barriers to increasing whānau engagement, and what practical approaches are making a difference?
Benchmarking Breakouts are facilitated in a wānanga style, encouraging active participation, shared learning and open discussion. These sessions provide a welcoming and safe space to ask questions, share experiences and connect with colleagues from across Aotearoa.
Please note: This hui will not be recorded.
