The NGO Benchmarking Club was established in 2014 under the auspices of the national KPI programme. The club comprises of nine self-selected NGOs, all of which are participants in the main KPI programme. The members are Pathways, Emerge Aotearoa, Affinity Services, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga, Equip, MASH Trust, Mahitahi Trust, Connect Supporting Recovery and PACT. These NGOs have developed eleven KPIs for NGO benchmarking purposes, with an initial focus on a subset of seven KPIs in the 2015/16 year.

 Community service user related time

Percentage of service users who are employed

Percentage of service users who are in independent accommodation

Waiting time between the date that the referral was received and the date that the person was actually seen face-to-face.

The first NGO benchmarking forum was held on the 19th November 2015.
